Hospitality Design

LAMAS works across an uncommonly varied terrain, from luxury hotel suites to urban breweries, retail kiosks to spa interiors. What unites this range is a disciplined curiosity: an abiding interest in wit and play as architectural instruments. A researched effect of colour or an unexpected form can fundamentally shape the mood of a hospitality space, directing movement and loosely defining the overall character of the container.

Hospitality is deepened by collaboration. Our work with Québec artist Yechel Gagnon brought a distinctive sense of place and identity to Le Spa at Manoir Hovey, while Toronto muralist Madison van Rijn's vivid reinterpretation of Ontario's crop fields became integral to the image of Avling Kitchen and Brewery. We design with precision and a certain playfulness, producing spaces whose character is legible without being fixed; open, always, to the life that will unfold within them.

“By weaving historical details into a modern framework, LAMAS has created a cohesive experience that respects Manoir Hovey's legacy while elevating it for today's discerning guests. From the manor-inspired colonnades to the nature-infused interiors, Le Spa at Manoir Hovey encapsulates the property's enduring appeal.”
