Le Spa Manoir Hovey Receives Special Mention in Hospitality Spa & Wellness at the 2025 Architizer A+Awards

Le Spa Manoir Hovey has received a Special Mention in the Hospitality Spa & Wellness category at the 2025 Architizer A+Awards. The project is located in North Hatley, Quebec, and was recognized in December 2025 as part of Architizer’s global awards program, celebrating built work and design concepts.

The Architizer A+Awards highlight projects that demonstrate architectural excellence through peer and jury recognition across a wide range of typologies. Within the Spa & Wellness category, the focus is on projects that articulate new spatial approaches to wellbeing, ritual, and restorative environments in contemporary architecture. Le Spa Manoir Hovey is part of a broader transformation of the historic Manoir Hovey site into a landscape-driven wellness destination.

The project develops a series of carefully framed architectural insertions within an existing natural setting, using thresholds, sectional shifts, and material transitions to define moments of retreat. Rather than a singular gesture, the design is structured as a sequence of experiences that move between exposure and enclosure, calibrated to the rhythm of the surrounding landscape.
