LAMAS Presents Delirious Facade at DesignTO Festival 2020 at Stackt Market
LAMAS presented Delirious Facade as part of the DesignTO Festival at Stackt Market in Toronto, held from January 17 to 26, 2020. The installation was included within the Design Collection @ Stackt programming, alongside a series of exhibitions, window installations, and public events hosted across the site.
The DesignTO Festival transforms sites across Toronto into temporary platforms for design-led exhibitions and installations, with Stackt Market acting as a key hub for the 2020 edition. The “Delirious Facade” installation formed part of a broader collection of projects engaging architecture, material experimentation, and urban design within the Stackt.
The project uses computational image processes to reinterpret existing Toronto building facades, generating hybrid architectural surfaces that question how context, ornament, and identity are constructed in the built environment. Presented in an open public setting, the work situates these speculative facades within the everyday visual and material conditions of the city.
