Vivian Lee Moderates BEAT’s 2019 Annual Leadership Seminar in Toronto

Vivian Lee of LAMAS served as moderator for the 2019 Annual Leadership Seminar organized by BEAT (Building Equality in Architecture Toronto), held on March 9 at the Toronto Reference Library. The event brought together architects, educators, and industry leaders for a day of talks, discussions, and tours focused on professional development, mentorship, and equity within architecture.

The BEAT Leadership Seminar is an annual program dedicated to supporting students and emerging practitioners by connecting them with established voices across architecture and design. The 2019 edition marked the fifth anniversary of the seminar and featured speakers from practice, academia, publishing, and advocacy organizations discussing career development, leadership, and the evolving role of women in the profession.
