AIGA Eye on Design Features LAMAS Retail Kiosk for Lincoln Center

LAMAS’ retail kiosk design for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts was featured in AIGA Eye on Design as part of an article examining the institution’s new merchandising and identity program developed by Small Stuff. The feature highlights the kiosk as part of a broader retail initiative intended to extend Lincoln Center’s public-facing identity through objects, graphics, and spatial design.

The article focuses on how the retail program translated Lincoln Center’s visual identity into a series of products, installations, and visitor experiences distributed across the campus. Within this context, the LAMAS-designed kiosk is presented as the architectural component of the initiative, supporting a flexible and highly visible retail environment tied to the institution’s cultural programming.

The project reflects LAMAS’ interest in temporary and small-scale architectural systems that operate between object, display, and public space. Developed in collaboration with branding and retail teams, the kiosk was conceived as an adaptable structure that could support changing merchandise displays and public interaction within the larger urban setting of Lincoln Center.
